Easter

We loved our relaxing Easter. It's just what this little family of three needed.

We got up early to check out our 'sensory Easter basket'. (Someone's mom is a teacher...)

Yes. He got a sponge.

And our favorite kitty came to help with the tissue paper.

We went to our best friends' house to have breakfast and dress the babies for church.

K loves Thatch man.

Photos?

Not so much.

Sort of got a mommy/thatch picture...

Church was glorious. Although, you couldn't tell by Thatcher's face.

Gavin, Thatcher and Kennedy. Babies forced in fancy clothes and loving forced photos. :)

We ended the day with an egg hunt at grandma Lauri's and our cousins, auntie and uncle and a bunch more family!

Half

Six months old.
Two teeth, 19 pounds, lots of giggles, says 'mum' and 'mama', countless facial expressions (no idea where that comes from), loves the kitty, watches all the cars drive by very intently, bounces in the jumperoo everyday, talks to himself with all kinds of sounds and noises, and still not sleeping through the night.
And we love it.

We made half a cake and sang, 'Half a birthday to you...'

Any excuse to celebrate!

And my personal favorite photo of the day...

Oh Thatch man.

Sunny days

Now that the weather is back to it's normal, rainy self, here's our week recap.

Turns out, swinging is relaxing.

This face. Oh.

We had our first real trip to the park. Grass is amazing!

Playing in the shade.

This guy. Those rolls.

Even naps are fair game. So cute!

This is the face I saw a half hour later. Cutie!

Love.

First ikea trip. He's so thrilled...

A basket of cloth vegetables = snack time

Making music with our friend Timothy.

The Dino, riding the Dino, the onesie, the face. It's all too much.

Another day on the swings.

And he's starting to do a backwards scoot...

What!?

Solids, jumpers and old men

The title reflects perfectly what we've been up to the past week. Ok, read on because it sounds a little creepy.

This is what I see most mornings...hello love!

Many people have wondered how he has gotten limbs stuck through the slats...well he started on his back in the center, and ended up like this. Must. Fight. Sleep.

First time in a high chair! So much is happening up here!

Happy first birthday to our girl Olive!

Yeah, ok.

Sweet boy melts my heart.

Loving the sun...together!

He takes his morning stretches very seriously.

Toys are so much more fun when you can sit up to check them out.

And our introduction to sweet potatoes.

Not sure what he's trying to say here...

Thanks for wiping your own face, buddy!

Cheeks.

I finally get it!!

Wahoo!

Playing in the sunshine.

Matching pants, matching hats...

Where's your fishing poles, little old men?
